Current Missions, 2011:

 

 

 Benson Family Dental Care has a heart for serving others.  Each of our staff members realizes that God has Blessed us with gifts, talents and skills that He uses to provide comfort to others.  We feel called to dedicate time for the purpose of  sharing these Blessings with people in need, both in our local community and around the world.  Team members and their families have served in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Brazil, Jamaica, Russia, Romania and Hungary.  We are also involved in supporting local organizations such as "Coins for Children," a program started through Manna Church of Fayetteville, NC, as well as an organization called "Stop Child Trafficking Now" in their effort to stop the sale of children into the sex-trade industry.  With drug smuggling holding first place, human trafficking has recently surpassed arms dealing making it the second largest criminal industry in the world. 

Currently, we are preparing for two international missions. 

Barbara, our Registered Dental Hygienist, has a long relationship with an organization called Mustard Seed Communities.  She has traveled to Jamaica several times and has provided care for countless individuals in need.  She is preparing to join yet another a medical/dental mission to Jamaica in March 2011.  Please support her and their entire team with your prayers on their journey to serve God.

Dr. Wright and her family are preparing for their second dental mission with Hope 4 Kids International.  Last August, they traveled to Hungary and Romania in hopes that God would use them to provide relief and comfort to people in need.  The trip was a huge success.  So many miracles occurred in the gypsy villages where they were Blessed to work.  God paved the way for them and provided for every need and obstacle that they encountered.  They promised the people of Lazareni and Cherisig that they would return in one year.  That time is approaching quickly and we believe that God will multiply what was done last year! 

We ask for your prayers that the Will of God be done and that He will Bless their work. 

Advancing the Kingdom of God is everyone's responsibility.  Even if you feel that you have no skill to offer or no gifts to share - you do!  Each one of us is perfectly designed by God for a specific purpose.  Please join us in our offering ourselves to Him in whatever way He may use us .  God will show you where He wants you to be.  All you have to do is let Him know that you're available!
